7th San Luis Film Festival organization committee to announce 2018 program

This year San Luis Film Festival will include a regional short film competition, for Yuma County/Imperial County, and San Luis Rio Colorado/Mexicali independent filmmakers•Mexican Director Joaquin Bissner will facilitate a Workshop•4 international films this year San Luis, Arizona.-The San Luis Film Festival organization committee will conduct a Press Conference to announce this year’s event program, when a regional short film competition will be included, as well as a Cinematography Workshop.Mr. Antonio Carrillo, President and Founder of the San Luis Film Festival, said the Press Conference will be held on Monday, August the 27th, 2018 at 11:00 AM, at La Bodega restaurant, located at 1950 East Juan Sanchez Blvd., in San Luis, Arizona.“This will be the second year in a row the free event will include an International Short film Competition, but the first year we are inviting those independent film makers who live in both Yuma and Imperial counties,and San Luis Rio Colorado and Mexicali, Mexico to participate in the First Regional Short Film Competition”, said Mr. Carrillo.Also, Mexican Filmmaker Joaquin Bissner will conduct a Workshop for those who would like to learn more about this passionate career.During the Press Conference, Mr. Carrillo will announce the 4 international films to be screened during the film festival.The 7th San Luis Film Festival will be held on November 13-16, 2017 at 6:00 PM at the Cesar Chavez Cultural Center, at 1015 North Main Street, in San Luis, Arizona with Free Admission.The Media is more than welcome to attend the Press Conference, where refreshments will be served.Please RSVP by calling Ms. Caty Navarro, Vice president of Public Relations and Marketing with SLFF,at (928) 488-7404 or by e-mail at [email protected] no later than Thursday, August 23rd, 2018.***
